I completed my first crochet project ever!!! I'm so excited. Although it's not perfect I'm extremely proud of how it came out. It just feels good to finish something. I would really like to find this same chenille yarn in a light pink color and make a baby blanket for a friend of mine. So far I haven't been able to find any soft colors other than white. I'm going to keep looking.

Love the pics...I know its hard saying good bye. I'm sorry you didn't get to see the grand canyon. Kinda sucks I know. Your tree was beautiful in its own way...lol.
